The love language of laughter + workshop update

Hello hello, my friends!

I was thinking about the deliciousness of pure smiles and laughter a couple of days ago. The more I laugh from a place of silliness and innocence, the more soulful it feels.

Some days a week, I walk Charley, the dog of Laura and Arthur, an elderly couple who are my friends, and live two or three blocks down my street. My time with Charley is usually relaxing and quiet; yesterday, something different happened though. After hearing the sirens of probably a fire truck, Charley started howling, as if communicating with the siren. He would howl, stop, look at me, and howl again. It made me laugh from my core, with that type of laughter that seems divine: the heart joyful, the chest jumping most purely. Because what inspired the laughter was pure, and no better proof than it coming from Charley's innocence. It made me feel deep love for him.

I find myself laughing more and more, and most of the time it comes from silliness, mine or loved ones. Laughter that doesn't belong to mockery, but comes from wit or spontaneous silliness. I remembered how I love that in others too, how I feel closer to my friends when we laugh like that, or how sexy I find men when they laugh like that, too. I love it when I'm on my own and it happens to me, and laugh about myself.

Anyway, just wanted to share how laughter out of purity has reminded me what a powerful love language it is.

In other news, I know I had offered a webinar for my workshop to happen sometime this week, but life and finishing my Life Coaching certification got me very busy, and I'm honoring my time for rest and leisure, too. That's something I'm embracing more this year, a sort of goal I'm refusing to forget: rest and enjoy my free time, plus doing work I enjoy.

So, there's not going to be a webinar for this workshop, but the workshop does go. Thank you so much to the person who purchased the first spot, I feel gratitude.

Talk to you soon!

Hi! While I’m working on a video about spiritual awakening for my YouTube channel, I’ve revisited the learnings and the process I just went through for almost four months—from July to October this year—which was full circle about a month ago, in early November. It felt like a character achieving another level in a game, which comes from a person who is not a gamer (but can get a little carried away playing UNO) and yet it’s the best way I could picture it right now. I was taken to face some...

Hello, hello, I just came back home from my first bike ride to/from the supermarket. As I don't have a car at the moment, I get car rides sometimes or walk over there and take an Uber back home, or walk back home if I'm not carrying a lot of weight. I do have a bike though. But I'd never used it for light loads of groceries because of different fears I've put together over the years. So, for the past two days, I've wanted to avoid the 35-minute walk there and ride my bike instead, but fear...

Hello, my fellow adventurer, I just wanted to pass by and leave a little reminder here. A reminder that even when things look challenging, you can overcome any situation. This is a reminder that, by staying in the present moment and following your heart’s guidance of joy, peace, love, excitement, and inspiration, you’ll get closer to the wisdom that lives inside you. A reminder that staying in the present connects you to your higher version of self and the magic available for you. A reminder...
